Toronto Emerging ARTivists, a group of local youth from the Flemingdon and Thorncliffe communities, have designed a pop bottle installation and community mural to be presented on May 3rd, during National Youth Arts Week! The pop bottle planters send a message about the environmental impact caused by littering, and what anyone can do with a plastic bottle, a plant and a little bit of water! The mural is a reflection of the community and represents its diversity and beauty on a mobile wall inside East York Town Centre. GORGEOUS.
