The theme of the 2015 exhibition is “Stigma” and the artists were asked to interpret their knowledge and reflections on the topic. We are all impacted by Stigma in some form and as a society it is up to us to find ways to reduce Stigma and see each other through the eyes of compassion and understanding. Sharing opinions, telling stories and reflecting on ideas through art can be a catalyst for change. These powerful pieces uniquely illustrate the idea of stigma in various and different perspectives. See how the youth of the district transform Leigh Square with their creativity and share their ideas and insights.

Walkerville high school exhibits a collection of works created by students from grade 9 to 12 for a total of one week at Art Speak Gallery in Windsor Ontario. The works range from painting, media, photography, printmaking, sculpture and installation. The week culminates with a closing reception on Friday May 2nd.

During this workshop, participants will learn the basics of stop-motion during this activity. Using fun, colorful clay, participants create their own little character which will be used on "set" to create their own short movie as well as creating a group film.
