Teens are invited to join us for National Youth Arts Week! NYAW is a project of the Arts Network for Children and Youth (ANCY) and is supported by Canadian Heritage and the Michaelle Jean Foundation. ANCY was established in 1999 by a group of arts practitioners with a vision of sustainable arts programming for children and youth in communities across Canada. Museum London’s Youth Council invites all teens to participate in the Art-a-thon once again. From 7:00 pm to midnight, teens participate in three free art workshops: Sculpture from 7:00 to 8:30 with Laura Mitrow, Tempera Painting from 8:45 to 10:15 with Patrick Howlett, and Life Drawing (with a clothed model) from 10:30 to midnight with Neil Klassen. All workshops are taught by professional local artists with a wealth of experience to share. No materials are required!
