Whisper & Shout invites young artists to make their voices seen and heard through their art. What do you want to say? And how loud do you want to say it? This exhibition will bring together youth from around the corner and across the city to challenge, celebrate, reveal, surprise, disturb and comfort through the power of art-making. Visual arts of all kinds are welcome. There will be youth-led workshops throughout the day of the opening a celebration from 5pm to 7pm including music, food, and, of course, the art.

/////BACKYARD///// A collaborative art exhibit featuring the University of Manitoba's School of Art students: Kristina Banera John Patterson Shaylyn Plett BACKYARD Presents an impossible, illusory space. It deals with the failure in expectation of imagery and spacial representation via reduced materialism; The landscape versus artifice.

The ACA Youth Exhibit showcases the talents of our younger artists. This is a show worth a visit. It is hung on the displays by the fire place and in the study area. The artwork is from students in grades 1 through 12. There will be awards excellence given on Wednesday, May 28, 6:30 PM.

From May 4-7, 2014 the Leamington's youth is researching and creatively expressing its imagination of a community live during 1940 - 1950 era, and speaking of transpired values relevant to them today by curating an exhibition at Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 84 window in downtown Leamington. Through the process the youth will creatively assert its place in the community generating an excitement in the communal space and spirit. The exhibit will continue until September 2014 and the creative process and interaction between the youth and the community members during that time will be documented by the young filmmakers creating a documentary film as collaboration on the Mill Street community heritage project. Encouraging an inter-generational community engagement through creativity the event is supported by Irena Vucajnk ,the artist and community arts advocate , Mill Street Neighbourhood Initiative-grass root neighbourhood group; the Cardinal Carter Secondary School ,the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 84 and by local businesses.
