This is the second annual Extracurricular event being held in Waterloo Public Square on Saturday, May 3 from 12:00 noon - 9:00 pm by the eyeGo to the Arts Youth Council. . The event will consist of a tradeshow where different organizations and vendors from across the city will be present to promote themselves and the opportunity they provide youth within the community. The evening will include performances from local musicians and programming by our partner vendors and exhibitors and then finally culminating by a Dare Night and a live headliner band performance presented by the eyeGO Youth Council!

The students of Brookside Jr. High School have teamed up with a local artist as a part of National Youth Arts Week. Artist Charmaine Guthrie will be assiting students from the school in painting a spring mural. An unveiling date is not yet decided, keep posted for more information!

Take a walk through our Artist’s Garden! Join the Morinville Art Club and the Morinville Youth Art Club on Saturday, May 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for our Spring Tea and Art Show during National Youth Arts Week at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, 9502 – 100 Avenue upstairs in the Gallery. A draw will be made for a basket filled with creative art materials donated by members from the Morinville Art Club. Draws will be made for one fall session and one winter session with the Morinville Youth Art Club. A draw will be made for one membership with the Morinville Art Club for the 2014 to 2015 season. Free admission includes coffee, tea and scrumptious home baking.

'Heated Tensions' interprets the dynamics – strain, friction, attraction and opposition – between different forces, and the physical and psychological spaces that contain them. The exhibition examines the phenomena that relate to cultural identity, mind and body, human relationships, environmentalism and gender politics.

Sounds supplied by The Feel Good's DJ's Tiger, Jolin Ras, & LeChance. We Meet In Shadows aka W.M.I.S. is a zine project founded by amateur photographers Adrian Ho and Ryan Narita. An idea sparked in 2013 that would eventually find ground in 2014. The zine contains the collective works of both artists throughout the years. The array of photographs span from their travels, passions, and experiences.
