Event: Book Arts Workshop

This two day workshop will encourage participants to explore and play with storytelling through creating and binding their own book. Friday evening's program will focus on building books together with various styles of Japanese binding techniques. Saturday, participants will create a personal graphic novel, fairy tale or scrapbook using fun and bright materials that will make their book a piece of art and a great story. The participants will have an opportunity to share these books with their peers and adults learning a similar technique in a consecutive workshop.
