Event: The Release Party
Based on real life 'The Release Party' is a play powerful enough to save lives. This new and original play is a celebration of youth expression in a pursuit to manage struggles with mental health, bullying, and suicide prevention. ‘Wind’, a young First Nations artist, is releasing her new single – in which bystanders are troopers, standing together hand in hand in truth. ‘Wind’ and her magic friend ‘Emberlin’ invite a diverse group of youth to share what is meaningful to them and to perform their various talents, which leads to a life-changing experience they’ll never forget. The Release Party features comedy and drama along with original dance, music, spoken word, rap, visual art, film, and parkour.
